The EUAsiaGrid Dissemination Conference will be held at the Activity Centre of Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan from 21-23 June 2010. Your participation to this final EUAsiaGrid event would be considered as an essential constituent before the project concludes. Therefore, on behalf of the Project Manager, Prof. Marco Paganoni, we sincerely invite the participation from all the partners and players in related projects to take part in this event for sharing and learning the achievement established by all project members.
EUAsiaGrid http://www.euasiagrid.eu/ has been acting as a support action, spreading dissemination, providing training courses, supporting scientific applications and monitoring the results during these 2 project years. The EUAsiaGrid proposal contributes to the aims of the Research Infrastructures Workprogramme by “promoting international inter-operation between similar infrastructures with the goal of reinforcing the global relevance and impact of European e-Infrastructures”. The project not only paved the way towards an Asian e-Science Grid Infrastructure, but also made good use from the existing global Grid technologies, with the specific emphasis on the European experience of the gLite middleware and applications deployed.
The theme for the EUAsiaGrid Dissemination Conference would focus on the applications that the project carries, which includes the applications on Earthquake, Biomedicines, Climate Change, Computational Chemistry, Humanities & Social Science and Cultural Heritage. It is our honour to have this opportunity to call for your participation to share and witness with the project scientific achievement made from all the partners. With your presence for the event, the network of the project and future collaboration opportunities will therefore be foreseen.
